Tibidabo Mountain offers a spectacular view of Barcelona, and its 1,600 ft high peak can be reached by taking the funicular. At sunset when Barcelona’s lights are shining beneath you the view is breathtakingly beautiful. Tibidabo Mountain has an amusement park complete with Ferris wheel, restaurants, and hotels, as well as a church, the Temple del Sagrat Cor (Sacred Heart). To get to the funicular, which will take you to the summit, catch a bus from Placa de Catalunya to Avinguda del Tibidabo, and there board the special funicular bus.
