Moscow Sights, Sounds and Hotels
Arbat was alleged to be the number one neighbourhood for Moscow’s nobility during the 19th century, but through the Soviet times the traditional Arbat inhabitants were edged out by the functionaries of the Communist Party bureaucracy. In the mid 1980’s Arbat became Moscow’s first pedestrian street, the Old Arbat, and through the years the street has become one of the most popular where you will meet buskers, street artists, Krishna supporters, and can also visit numerous smart clothes and souvenir shops, cafes, cultural centres and much more.
Moscow's Old Arbat Street is one of the most famous places in Moscow city with it's beautiful mansions, musuems, cafes and shops, but that's not all..... Best book comfortable accommodation in one of the fine Moscow hotels and come explore!
